Junior School's After School Program will begin January 20th.

There will be no school Friday October 25th due to staff PD, return to school Monday October 28th.

The WBE is compiling a list of community members willing to rent their properties in Wiikwemkoong that would be appropriate for prospective teachers and education staff moving to Wiikwemkoong to work. You must own the residence; it cannot be an RPM unit. No more early dismissal days on the first Wednesday of each month.

ATTENTION: Due to the heavy snowfall expected to start this afternoon, and in the interest of safety, all WBE after-school programming (after-school care, sports, clubs, and extracurriculars) is cancelled for today.

ATTENTION: Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Due to the icy road conditions and in the interest of safety, all school-related transportation services are cancelled today. All schools will remain open, however, NO transportation will be provided.

UPDATE: The Wiikwemkoong Junior School fire alarm went off around 12:15 PM. This prompted staff to follow their fire drill procedures. This alarm was triggered due to a mechanical error with our ventilation system. The Wiikwemkoong Fire Department was called and after they vented the area they gave the all-clear for students to return to class. At no point was student safety compromised.
